He was born in 1957.

He finished his secondary school studies in 1976 at the Bessenyei György Grammar School of Kisvárda.
As a student he was modelling for ten years.

He majored in drawing and mathematics in 1981 at the Bessenyei György College of Education of Nyíregyháza. His mentor was Zoltán Valkovits.

From 1982 he was the teacher of drawing at the Móra Ferenc Primary School of Miskolc.

He got his diploma in 1988 at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts. Among his teachers were Csaba Vecsey, Árpád Szabados and László Patay.

From 1987 he has been working as the teacher of arts at the Avasi Grammar School of Miskolc.

From 1982 on he has had many one-man shows. Besides, he takes part in group exhibitions as well.

In 1995 he became a member of the Nationwide Hungarian Artist Association.
